In a candy shop, bright and grand, With lollipops held in a sticky hand, And jellybeans piled in rainbow mounds, Where sugary laughter always resounds, Lived Gumdrop, so round and red, A comedian from his gummy head. Candy, a swirl of peppermint bright, And a Child with eyes full of pure delight! The Giggling Gumdrop, a joyful sight, Told the funniest jokes with all his might. "Why did the cookie go to the doctor?" he’d boom, "Because he felt crumb-y in every room!" The candies would wobble, the chocolates would shake, The licorice twisted for goodness sake! Candy, the peppermint, nearly unwound, Rolled 'round and 'round on the sweet ground! The Child would giggle and clap with glee, "Tell another, Gumdrop, just for me!" He'd wiggle his gumdrop toes and declare, "Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything!" He told jokes 'bout sprinkles and taffy so long, 'Till the whole candy shop burst into song! Each sugary treat in a fit of the smiles, Dancing and singing for miles and miles. Then suddenly, silence! The laughter all ceased, The Gumdrop looked glum, like a deflated sweet beast. "Oh dear," he sighed, "I've run out of jokes!" Then the Child whispered, with confident strokes: "I know a good one, all shiny and new! What do you call a bear with no teeth? A gummy bear!" The Gumdrop exploded in giggles so grand, He bounced off the shelves, with a smile in his hand. And so, in the shop, the fun never ends, With the Giggling Gumdrop and all his sweet friends. Sharing jokes and laughter, all day and all night, A sweet and silly, wonderfully bright!
In a room of sleepy sighs, Where sunbeams danced with half-closed eyes, A hush descended, soft and deep, As little dreams began to creep. Two blankets lay, a cozy pair, One stripy bright, beyond compare, The other dotted, soft and blue, Waiting for adventures, me and you! For when the dark began to loom, And shadows danced within the room, A tiny fear, a little fright, Would grip the heart with all its might. But Blanket One, with stripes so bold, Whispered stories to be told, While Blanket Two, so soft and mild, Wrapped up the fear of every child. They snuggled close, a fuzzy heap, Chasing shadows into sleep, A fort of comfort, warm and true, Protecting dreams the whole night through. They kept each other safe and sound, As sleepy giggles spun around, No monster could their fortress breach, Within their cozy, blanket reach. And as the moon climbed up so high, They held each other, you and I, Two blankets close, a loving sight, Sharing sweetest dreams all through the night.
In a night garden covered in dew, Where petals shimmered, a magical view, A tiny dust fairy, with wings so bright, Spreads sparkling dust in the fading light. The Sparkling Dust Fairy, a whimsical sprite, Danced with the fireflies, in the pale moonlight, Tiny lanterns blinking, a joyful parade, As the fairy's dust, a shimmering cascade, Touched every leaf, every bloom, every tree, Making everything glow, for all eyes to see. The Moon, a silver coin in the inky sky, Smiled down upon them, as the hours drifted by. The roses awoke with a velvet sheen, The lilies shimmered, a fantastical scene. The spiderwebs glittered, like diamond thread, As the fairy and fireflies, overhead, led, A silent symphony of shimmering grace, A secret wonder in this enchanted place. The Sparkling Dust Fairy, her work now complete, Landed softly, her tiny dancing feet, Covered in stardust, beneath the moon's gleam. The dew-kissed garden, a magical dream, Night becomes magical, bathed in soft light, A whispered secret, held tight in the night.
In a clearing of emerald so bright, Where sunbeams danced with pure delight, Lived a turtle, slow and green, The strangest sight you've ever seen! He stumbled one day, shell hitting the ground, On an old, dusty clock, rarely found. Its hands spun wild, a dizzying spree, "Tick-tock, tick-tock, come travel with me!" Out popped a fairy, wings shimmering gold, "Hop on, dear turtle, be brave and be bold!" The clock glowed with magic, a portal it made, Ready for journeys, no time to be afraid! First, to a land of giant ice cream cones, Where sugary mountains met marshmallow zones. Then, swoosh! To a pirate ship, sailing so free, Fighting off sea monsters with glee! Next, dinosaurs roared in a jungle so deep, While the turtle hid, secrets to keep. Through ancient Egypt, past pharaohs of old, Adventures unfolded, stories untold! He grabbed a gemstone, sparkly and grand, A feather from dinosaurs in a faraway land, A scroll from the pharaohs, golden and bright, Souvenirs gathered with all of his might. Back in the clearing, the clock ticked its last, The fairy vanished, the adventure was past. The turtle grinned wide, his shell heavy and full, Of treasures and memories, wonderfully cool!
In a fishbowl round, on a table so neat, Lived a goldfish small, with shimmering feet. The water was clear, a bubbly delight, And inside his bowl, shone a castle so bright! This little gold fish, with scales of bright gold, Had dreams of the ocean, stories untold. He'd wiggle his fins, and swish his bright tail, Imagining waves, and a salty sea gale. One night as he slept, the water turned blue, His castle grew larger, magically true! The bowl disappeared, with a fantastical POP! And Goldie was swimming, he simply couldn't stop! He danced through the coral, a reef bright and grand, With fishes of rainbow, all over the land! A turtle swam past, with a wink and a smile, "Welcome, dear Goldie, stay for a while!" He chased after bubbles, so shiny and round, And played hide-and-seek, where seashells were found. He met a starfish, a friend jolly and bright, And learned all the secrets, the ocean held tight. He explored a shipwreck, all barnacled and old, A pirate's lost treasure, more precious than gold! He swam with the dolphins, so graceful and free, The happiest goldfish, for all eyes to see! Then slowly, the colors began to grow dim, The ocean was fading, returning so grim. He found himself back, in his bowl round and small, But his heart held the ocean, he'd given his all! He looked at his castle, no longer the same, Now filled with the memories, whispered his name. He smiled to himself, with a contented soft sigh, "I’m a goldfish with stories, of the ocean so high!"
In a toy room, bright and bold, With blocks of wood and stories told, A Jack-in-the-box, all painted red, Sat waiting, tucked in his little bed. Little Lily skipped and played, Among the toys so brightly arrayed, A teddy bear with button eyes, And a wooden train of perfect size. But Jack, the Jack-in-the-box so sly, Had a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He wiggled and jiggled, ready to leap, While Lily was counting plastic sheep. Then *POP!* He shot up with a mighty spring, His painted face a funny thing! Lily shrieked, then giggled with glee, "You silly Jack, you startled me!" The teddy bear wobbled, the train did sway, As Jack bowed low in a playful way. He'd hidden so well, it was quite a feat, Now Lily and Jack danced cheek to cheek, Knowing tomorrow, he'd be ready to repeat!
Next to an old pond, green and deep, Where lily pads their secrets keep, Stood Willow, old, with branches long, Her leaves a-whisper, soft and strong. And Wind, a sprite with cheeks so bright, Loved dancing 'round with all his might. A fluffy Duck, named Ducky Doo, Loved splashing there, in waters blue. The Whispering Willow Tree, she knew, Of magic spells and skies of blue. She told of dragons, brave and bold, And treasures hid in stories old. The Wind would rush, a happy gust, And shake her leaves in shimmering dust. "Tell us more!" he'd loudly plead, As Ducky Doo would nod, agreed. She spoke of pixies, small and green, Whose laughter made the meadows gleam. Of giants snoring, loud and deep, Disturbing sheep while fast asleep. The Wind would mimic, howl and moan, The giant's snores in hollow tone. While Ducky Doo, with quack so clear, Would chase the echoes, far and near. One day, she whispered, low and sweet, "A hidden charm lies at your feet!" The Wind, he swirled in a dizzy spree, And blew the leaves for all to see. And there it lay, a pebble bright, Reflecting starlight, pure and white! The magic stone, so round and smooth, Brought peace and harmony, forsooth. The Wind grew calmer, soft and mild, The Willow's whispering, gently smiled. And Ducky Doo, no longer bold, Found friendship true, a story told. Beside the pond, in sun's warm ray, They lived in peace, from that bright day. The Whispering Willow's magic art, Had mended every lonely heart.
Falling from the sky, a silvery thread, The Spring Rain's pitter-patter, right overhead! A rainy springtime day, so fresh and so green, Puddles like mirrors, the prettiest scene. Little raindrops, like tiny, clear tears, Washing the world, and banishing fears. The Rain, a playful friend, with a splash and a spree, Dancing on rooftops, for all eyes to see. Down below, the Flowers, all sleepy and small, Waiting for whispers, to answer the call. Thirsty green stems, reaching up high, For a drink from the heavens, that tumble from the sky. Then comes Umbrella, so bright and so bold, A rainbow of colours, a story untold. Protecting a child, with a happy, bright face, From the Rain's gentle tickle, all over the place. The Rain waters all the plants, with a bubbly, soft sound, Washing the dirt, from the earth all around. Each little petal, drinks deep and so sweet, A springtime refreshment, a blossoming treat! The Rain stops its dancing, the clouds drift away, The sun peeks from hiding, to brighten the day. And now, oh so vibrant, a colourful sight, The Flowers bloom brightly, in sunshine and light!
Underneath a sandy beach, where coral castles gleam, Lived a Starfish, quite rotund, lost in a sleepy dream. He snored so very loudly, a bubbly, briny sound, That shook the seabed gently, for miles and miles around! The Sand, he grumbled softly, "Oh, Starfish, please be still! Your snorts are quite disruptive, they give me such a chill!" The Waves, they crashed and chuckled, "He's louder than the tide! He's waking up the seahorses, who try so hard to hide!" The little fish, they fluttered, with wide and worried eyes, "That snoring starfish! Oh dear me! He's filling us with sighs!" They tried to gently nudge him, with fins and tiny tails, But Starfish only snored again, with louder, windy wails! Then clever Sand had an idea, he whispered to a crab, "Let's tickle Starfish's tummy, just give him a gentle jab!" The crab crept near, so quietly, and tickled with his claw, The Starfish giggled, woke up, and didn't snore at all! He smiled, stretched out his five arms, and yawned a sleepy sigh, "Oh my, was I disturbing you? I do apologise!" He snuggled in the softest sand, and closed his eyes so tight, And drifted off to silent sleep, all through the starry night.
In a sidewalk's gray, a tiny crack deep, Where gritty dust settled, secrets to keep, Lived a seed so small, a dreamer so bold, A story of nature, waiting to unfold. Daisy, the sprout, with a root reaching down, Found life in the stillness of this concrete town. Sun, a warm friend in the sky so bright, Poured golden kisses of shimmering light. And Ants, busy workers, with burdens to bear, Marched past her daily, without a care. Growing in small space, a difficult start, But Daisy knew courage resided in heart. She pushed through the pavement, a stubborn green spear, Ignoring the doubters, dispelling all fear. Each day she would stretch, with a determined desire, Reaching for sunlight, fueled by inner fire. The Ants marched past, some pausing to stare, At this tiny plant, defying despair. "She'll never make it!" they grumbled and sighed, "The concrete's too hard, she's better off died!" But Sun smiled warmly, "Believe, little friend! Your journey's just started, it's not at the end." Daisy drank sunlight, she swayed in the breeze, Ignoring the naysayers among the tall trees (Or rather, the weeds!), she climbed with such might, Toward the warm heaven of beautiful light. Then one bright morning, a miracle bloomed! A yellow sunburst, the gloom it consumed. Right there in the sidewalk, a beacon so grand, A daisy triumphant, in concrete land. The Ants stopped their marching, amazed by the sight, This brave little flower, shining so bright. She bloomed in the city, where no one expects, A splash of pure beauty, that nobody suspects. A reminder that even in places so bleak, A Determined Daisy, dreams she can speak! So next time you're walking, and feeling quite down, Look close at the sidewalk, a daisy might crown!
In Benny's backyard, bright and bold, A birthday party, stories told! Balloons like berries, red and blue, A cake with candles, shining through. A curious contraption, shiny and new, The Burping Bubble Machine, in shades of goo! It wiggled and wobbled, with a blink and a beep, Then let out a rumble from its slumbering sleep. "Blurp!" it exploded, a sound so absurd, The Kids all giggled, every single word! Then bubbles appeared, not round and so neat, But square and triangular, oh what a treat! The Bubbles, they burped with each bubbly flight, Tickling noses with all of their might! They bounced on the grass, and they danced in the air, Wearing silly hats and tangling in hair! "Burp! Burp! Burp!" the Machine declared, Bubbles piled high, beyond compare! Giant bubble mountains, shimmered and shone, A bubbly bonanza, never before known! Then, with a pop and a fizz and a splat, The bubbles all burst, just like that! A sticky sweet rain, like raspberry jam, Covered the Kids in a sugary slam! They laughed and they cheered, covered head to toe, In the gooiest, bubbliest, best party glow! The Burping Bubble Machine, a hilarious sight, Made Benny's birthday, bursting with light!
In a crayon box on a desk so grand, Lay colors waiting, a vibrant band. Reds and blues, yellows so bright, Hiding from fingers, with all their might. Afraid of being used, chipped, or worn, Two crayons shivered, forlorn. Crayon One, a bold, bright Blue, Crayon Two, a sunny, happy Hue. Blue worried much, with a whispered sigh, "Oh, what if they press too hard, and I die?" Yellow chuckled, a warm, gentle sound, "Nonsense, dear Blue, fun is to be found!" One day a hand, so small and neat, Opened the box, oh what a treat! The child chose Blue, then Yellow so grand, "Let's draw a picture!" in crayon in hand. First came a sky, a glorious Blue, Then a shining sun, for Yellow to do. They colored together, side by side, No longer afraid, with joyous pride. They drew green grass, and flowers so red, A happy little house, above their head. They painted a world, so bright and so new, Together, the crayons, and the child, too! Blue and Yellow, no longer afraid, Their colors united, a promise made. For together they learned, a lesson so true, Friendship makes magic, in all that you do! The drawing complete, a vibrant display, The world was now colorful, bright as the day. And the two best crayon friends, happy and free, Had created a masterpiece, for all eyes to see!
