Rain falls down, a pitter-pat song, On the garden where we all belong! Green shoots stretching, a leafy embrace, In this flowery, sun-kissed space.
Little flowers, in colors so bright, Yawn and stretch in the morning light. Red and yellow, purple and blue, Waiting for something refreshing and new.
Then plink, plank, plunk, the rain starts to fall, Like tiny dancers, answering nature’s call. Each tiny droplet, a sparkling gem, Washing the petals, stem by stem.
"Hooray!" cry the flowers, with a joyful sound, As the rain soaks deep into the ground. They drink and they grow, reaching up high, Dancing with raindrops against the blue sky.
From his muddy home, an earthworm peeks out, "A splashy adventure, there is no doubt!" He wiggles and squirms, happy and free, In this wet, wonderful jubilee!
The rain dances down, with a shimmering sheen, Making the garden a vibrant, lush scene. The flowers drink deep, the earthworm plays, And everything grows, in these sunshiny days.
So thank you, sweet rain, for this magical treat, Making our garden wonderfully complete! The flowers are blooming, the earthworm is fed, And happiness grows, from the top of my head!
