In meadows green, where breezes play, And wildflowers dance in bright array, Three little friends, with laughter light, Sought shade from sunshine, burning bright.
Beneath the boughs of emerald hue, A mighty tree, strong, tall, and true, Offered welcome, cool and deep, Where sunbeams dared not slyly peep.
The children giggled, "Oh, what bliss!" As sunbeams tried to steal a kiss, But leafy arms, a gentle screen, Kept them cool, this happy scene.
Sunshine peeked, with golden eye, But branches swayed, way up so high, The tree whispered secrets, soft and low, Of rustling leaves and breezes' flow.
They built a castle, leafy, grand, With twigs and stones, throughout the land, The tree stood watch, a patient friend, Their joyful games would never end.
Then, weary from their playful chase, They nestled close, in leafy space, The tree's soft lullaby they heard, Like gentle music, softly stirred.
Beneath the shady canopy, They drifted off, so peacefully, Sunshine kissed the leaves above, As dreams embraced them, filled with love.
