In shadows deep, a cavern grand, With walls of rock and shifting sand, Lived Sparky, a dragon, green and small, Feeling lonely, missing one and all.
He sighed a puff of smoke, so blue, "No friends for dragons, boo hoo hoo!" His cave was comfy, warm, and wide, But friendship’s joy he couldn’t hide.
Then clank, clank, clank, a sound so near, Sir Reginald, the knight, drew near! In shining armor, bold and bright, He paused before the dragon's light.
And with him came, a woolly friend, A sheep named Pip, until the end! He trembled, "Baa," behind the knight, Afraid of dragons, day and night.
"Fear not, good sheep," the knight proclaimed, "This dragon's heart is never blamed! He's lonely, Pip, that's plain to see, Come, Sparky, join us, wild and free!"
Sparky blinked, surprised and pleased, His lonely dragon heart was eased! He followed them, with happy roar, Right to the village, nothing more!
The villagers gasped, then cheered with glee, "A dragon friend! How grand can be!" They baked him cakes and sang him songs, Where Sparky truly now belongs.
Pip the sheep, no longer scared, On Sparky's back, he bravely dared! To ride around, with joyous leaps, While the village cheered, and no one sleeps.
So Sparky found, in village fair, A knight, a sheep, and friends to share, His lonely cave, a memory gone, The friendliest dragon, from dusk till dawn!
