Friends always
Friendship

Friends always

Friends always

High in the sky, on branches so green, Lived a tree house, the best ever seen! With rope ladders dangling and windows so bright, It sparkled with laughter, both morning and night. Playing! Friends gathered, a joyful young crew, Lily, and Tom, Maya, and Ben too! They climbed the rope ladder with giggles and glee, Ready for adventures, wild as could be! They built pillow forts, fit for a king, And swung on the tire swing, making it sing! Lily told stories of dragons and knights, While Tom drew brave pictures with all of his might. Maya made potions of berries and dew, Ben played his harmonica, songs fresh and new! They shared silly secrets and whispered so low, Planting a friendship that continued to grow. They painted the tree house with colors so bold, A rainbow of stories waiting to unfold! A sudden rain shower came tumbling down, So they huddled together, safe and sound, Sharing warm cookies, sweet as could be, And listening to raindrops sing on the tree. The storm passed quickly, the sun peeked anew, Painting the leaves with a shimmering hue. From tree house adventures, wild, silly, and grand, These friends learned a lesson, hand in hand. Through sunshine and showers, their bond would not bend, For they were best friends, right until the very end!

Magic Spell

Magic Spell

In a chamber, old and grand, With swirling mists and shifting sand, Stood towers tall, of books piled high, Beneath a star-embroidered sky. A Wizard wise, with beard so long, Hummed a silly, tuneless song. He held a wand of twisted oak, And then a magic word he spoke: “Abracadabra, hippopotamus shoe!” A sparkly dust began to brew! He waved his wand with a mighty swish, And cast a spell with a silent wish. The room began to glow and gleam, A unicorn appeared, it would seem! With rainbow mane and silver horn, It pranced and danced until the morn. The Wizard laughed, a joyous sound, As happy magic filled the ground. The spell was done, the day complete, A unicorn friend, oh so sweet!

Lost in the maze

Lost in the maze

Deep inside, a verdant sprawl, A living labyrinth, standing tall. Green walls high, a twisting track, The wondrous Maze, there's no turning back! A tiny Kid, with map in hand, Ready to explore this leafy land. With shoes so bright and spirit bold, An adventure waits, a story to be told! Stepping in, a grassy start, A giggling echo in their heart. Left, then right, a sunbeam's gleam, Lost in the puzzle, a waking dream! Rustling leaves, a whispered guide, Through thorny vines, they bravely stride. A butterfly flits, a robin sings, Past painted stones and hidden swings. Dead ends appear, frustration sighs, But hope remains within their eyes. They climb a wall, a peek so grand, A tiny gap, a helping hand! A sudden burst of golden light, The Maze is done, a glorious sight! Beyond the walls, a meadow wide, With open arms, the world outside! The Kid now free, with joyful leap, A secret kept, buried deep. The Maze they conquered, brave and true, An adventurer's dream, forever new!

Sleepy Bear

Sleepy Bear

In forest den, where shadows play, And sunbeams dance in a hazy way, Lived a bear, all fluffy and brown, Getting ready to slumber down. His name was Barnaby, big and sweet, With paws so clumsy and furry feet. He yawned a yawn, a mighty sound, As sleepy dust swirled all around. He fluffed his bed of leaves so high, And watched a sleepy butterfly Flutter by, then close his eyes, Beneath the forest's lullabies. He dreamt of honey, sweet and bright, Of berries red in morning light, Of chasing squirrels up trees so tall, Before he drifted off to call… No more! He slept, a peaceful sight, Throughout the day and through the night. The wind it howled, the rain it poured, But Barnaby just snored and snored. The snow fell softly, white and deep, Around the den where secrets sleep. And Barnaby, in slumber deep, Embarked on a long, long, cozy sleep.

Winter Snow

Winter Snow

Covering mountains, high and grand, Winter Snow, across the land! A fluffy blanket, soft and white, Sparkling diamonds in the light. Snow, a playful, dancing sprite, Swirling down with all its might. It whispers secrets to the trees, And chills the noses, if you please! Down the slopes, a joyful streak, Little skiers, cheek to cheek! Zooming, swooshing, fast they fly, Beneath the clear and frosty sky. Snowflakes tickle, cold and sweet, A frosty challenge, can't be beat! They laugh and tumble, soft and low, Watching winter magic grow. The sun dips low, a fiery kiss, Painting the snow with golden bliss. Tired but happy, warm inside, Winter Snow, a joyful ride! Happy Time!

The Big Blue

The Big Blue

Swimming in the Big Blue so grand, A world of wonder, like a sparkling land. Cobalt currents, a swirling sea, Home to creatures, wild and free. Old Barnaby Whale, with barnacles galore, Swam past kelp forests and sandy shore. He hummed a deep tune, a bubbly bass, With a twinkle in his giant, watery face. He chased silver fishes in shimmering schools, Past coral castles, ignoring the rules Of grumpy old lobsters and speedy seahorses, He just wanted to play, ignoring all courses! He blew a huge spout, a watery spray, And danced with dolphins all through the day. He told them old stories of ships long gone by, Underneath the bright sun in the bright blue sky. Living in the Big Blue, so strong and so bold, Barnaby Whale’s story will always be told. He drifts off to sleep, in the ocean’s embrace, A peaceful blue giant, in a peaceful place.

Flower bed

Flower bed

In a field of green, so wide and grand, Where wildflowers danced in a sunny band, Lived a buzzy friend, a tiny bee, Ready for work, as happy as could be. Flying high, with wings so fleet, A tiny speck, oh so sweet, He zoomed above the grassy ground, Looking for blossoms all around. He saw the bed, a flowery sight, A rainbow burst of pure delight, Petals of red, and yellow bright, A feast for him, with all his might. He dipped and dove, with fuzzy grace, A pollen dance, all over the place, From daisy white to poppy red, He buzzed and bumped inside each head. He tickled stems with legs so small, Delivering pollen to one and all, A busy bee, with purpose true, Making the flower bed, fresh and new. Then as the days began to fade, And tiny seeds began to cascade, A wondrous change, a magic scene, More tiny buds, in shades of green! The flower bed, once small and neat, Now overflowed, a joyful treat, Thanks to the bee, and his pollen dust, A field of flowers, we could all trust!

Slip on ice

Slip on ice

Walking on the road so gray, Where slushy snow just loves to play, A little kid with boots so bright, Stepped out with all his tiny might! The road was slick, a frozen treat, He took a step, then lost his feet! A-WHOOSH! He sailed, a human sled, His hat flew off and bumped his head! He flailed his arms, a funny sight, Like penguins trying hard to take flight! He spun around, a dizzy blur, The icy road, a trickster sir! Past lampposts tall and bins so wide, He zoomed and slipped, with nowhere to hide! A lady screamed, a fluffy cat, All watched him go, just like that! But then, ker-PLOP! He landed soft, Right in a snowdrift, way aloft! No harm was done, just snowy fluff, He giggled loud, "That was enough!" He stood right up, a snowy elf, And burst out laughing at himself! The lady smiled, the cat purred low, A happy laugh, in the winter snow!

Helping others

Helping others

On Bumpy Street (A Friendship Poem) A grocery bag, about to bust, Full of apples, jam, and crust! Little Lily struggled so, Down Bumpy Street, quite slow, slow, slow. Then Maya, with a skip and hop, Came dancing by, right at the top Of Bumpy Street, all painted blue, With cracks and stones, a wobbly view. "That bag looks heavy, Lily-Lou!" Maya cried, "What can I do?" Lily sighed, "It's awful, true! I'm going to drop it, boo-hoo-hoo!" Maya smiled, "Don't you despair! A little help, we'll make it there! We'll share the weight, a helping hand, Across Bumpy Street, to your door, so grand!" So Maya grabbed a handle tight, Lily grinned with pure delight. They marched along, with steady pace, Across Bumpy Street, a smiling race! Over stones and painted cracks, They laughed and chatted, no turning backs. The bag felt lighter, spirits soared, To Lily's house, they were adored! At Lily's door, the bag they set, A perfect team, you wouldn't forget. "Thank you, Maya, my very best friend!" "Together always," that's how we'll end!

Potion brewing

Potion brewing

Potion brewing

In a cavern, dark and deep, Where crystals glow and secrets sleep, Lived a Wizard, old and grand, With potions bubbling in his hand. He stirred his cauldron, round and wide, With dragon scales and starlight dried, A dash of laughter, pixie dust, A pinch of brave, because he must. "Brewing, brewing, potion bright," He chanted low with all his might. For years he'd searched, with furrowed brow, A spell to banish aging now! He mixed in moonbeams, silver bright, And whispers carried through the night, A grumbleweed, a phoenix tear, To conquer time and conquer fear. But as he sipped, with trembling lip, His beard grew longer, with each drip! His wrinkles deepened, lines took hold, He felt a hundred winters old! He stumbled back, a feeble sigh, "It's aging me! Oh, dear, oh my!" The potion smoked, a vibrant green, The strangest sight he'd ever seen. Then suddenly, a burst of light, He felt no weakness, only might! The wrinkles faded, beard grew short, His eyes regained a youthful sort! He hadn't stopped the passing year, But learned to banish all his fear! To live each moment, bold and free, And in his magic, always be! So in the cave, he brewed anew, Not youth, but joy, for me and you! A potion for a happy heart, To live each day, a brand new start!

Lost the way

Lost the way

Lost the Way **Poem:** A rustle, a creak, a shadowed green, Deep in the forest, a curious scene. Lost! cried Leo, small and so slight, "The path disappeared in the fading light!" Giant trees, with mossy beards, Whispered secrets, unheard words. A squirrel zipped by, a flash of brown, Leo stomped onward, up and down. He found a map, drawn on a leaf, By a pixie, avoiding forest thief! "Follow the fireflies," it gently read, "Where mushrooms glow, and fairies tread." Fireflies blinked, a shimmering guide, Through tangled roots, where shadows hide. He leaped o'er a creek, on a slippery stone, His heart beat fast, but he wasn't alone! A friendly badger, with spectacles bright, Offered berries, a welcome sight. "The path's that way," he winked with a grin, "Past the grumpy gnome, living within!" Leo tiptoed past, on silent feet, Avoiding the gnome, and his grumbling treat. The air grew sweet, a familiar scent, His house peeked through, a moment well spent! The door swung open, a warm embrace, Safe from the woods, and that wild, lost place. He hugged his mom tight, with a happy sigh, Adventures are fun, but home is nearby!

The dog is fast

The dog is fast

Running In the garden, green and bright, Sunbeams dancing, what a sight! Flowers blooming, red and blue, With busy bees and morning dew. The dog is fast, a furry streak, Across the lawn, a joyful shriek! A wagging tail, a happy bark, He chases squirrels around the park… Well, not a park, a garden small, But big adventures for us all! He leaps and bounds with playful zest, Putting his speed to the test. He sniffs the roses, red and sweet, Then chases butterflies, a fleet Of colorful wings, a dizzying dance, He stumbles, rolls, takes another chance! He digs for bones, a buried treat, Then licks his chops, oh so complete! He plays with balls and rubber ducks, Avoiding thorny prickly shrubs. He barks at birds high in the tree, As happy as a dog can be! He spins in circles, round and round, Then collapses on the ground. A happy dog, so tired now, With muddy paws and sleepy brow. He dreams of squirrels and buzzing bees, Content and peaceful in the breeze.

Leaves in fall

Leaves in fall

Falling, falling, oh so slow, Leaves in Autumn, put on a show! In the forest, crisp and deep, Where sleepy squirrels begin to peep, The ancient trees, so tall and grand, Prepare a party across the land. Old Oaky, Maple red and bright, Whispered secrets in the fading light. "It's time!" they creaked, a rustling sound, As colors painted all around! Crimson, gold, and pumpkin spice, Each leaf a tiny, dancing dice, Tumbling down in swirling flight, A dazzling, beautiful, leafy sight! The wind, a playful, whistling friend, Sent leaves a-twirling, without end! Some landed softly on the ground, Making cushions, soft and round. Children laughed with joyful glee, Kicking through the leafy sea! Building forts of brown and gold, Stories of adventure to be told. But as the days grew short and cold, The trees stood bare, their stories told. Waiting for the winter's sleep, Until the springtime sun would peep. The leaves now blanketed the ground, A cozy cover all around, Preparing earth for sleepy nights, Until the sun returns with lights. So sleep now, forest, deep and still, The falling leaves have done their fill. Until the spring, with buds so new, Leaves in autumn, we bid adieu!

Fish Tank

Fish Tank

Swimming in a castle, grand and tall, In Lily’s room, upon the wall! A fish tank bright, a watery gleam, A bubbling, splashing, finny dream. Goldie and Bubbles, oh so grand, With coral castles in their sand. Green leafy weeds, a waving show, Watching Lily, to and fro. Then Lily came, with watering can, “More water for my fishy clan!” But whoops! She poured with joyful glee, A tidal wave for all to see! The water sloshed, the castle swayed, Goldie and Bubbles, quite dismayed! They swam in circles, fast and free, A miniature, fishy, watery sea! The level rose, oh what a sight, Almost overflowing in the light! Then Lily stopped, her eyes so wide, "Oops!" she giggled, deep inside. She scooped a cup, with gentle hand, Returned the water to the land. The level lowered, slow and steady, Goldie and Bubbles, now were ready. They nestled down, in calming blue, The water settled, shining through. With full bellies, and fins so bright, Relaxing now, throughout the night!

Summer Heat

Summer Heat

The sun, a giant orange eye, Woke up sleepy in the sky. Beaches stretching, golden bright, Waiting for his warming light. Heating up with fiery glee, The sand became too hot to be! Little crabs scuttled, quick and sly, Seeking shade as sun climbed high. Burning, blazing, hot and bold, A shimmering story to be told. Seagulls squawked a sun-kissed tune, As ice cream dripped beneath the moon… (Well, almost moon, it was still day!) The sun just laughed and shone away. Children splashed with happy squeals, Ignoring how the sunshine feels. Happy summer, warm and grand, A sun-soaked day on golden sand! The ocean breeze, a cooling kiss, Summer heat? We won’t dismiss!

Elephant big nose

Elephant big nose

In the savanna, sun so bright, Golden grasses, what a sight! A watering hole, cool and deep, Where sleepy hippos softly sleep. Elmer the elephant, big and grand, With wrinkly knees and dusty sand, Arrived for a drink, a mighty slurp, His tummy rumbled, “Blurp, burp, burp!” He lowered his trunk, that wiggly hose, And sucked up water, right to his toes! Then, feeling frisky, a giggle inside, He aimed his trunk, with nowhere to hide! A playful spray, a watery blast, Soaked a warthog running past! The monkeys shrieked with glee so loud, As Elmer sprayed a fluffy cloud! He twirled his trunk, a watery dance, At giggling zebras, taking a chance! The rhinos grumbled, then joined the fun, A watery party, for everyone! Now Elmer trumpets, a happy sound, As slippery friends leap all around! He sprays and splishes, the king of the scene, The funniest elephant, ever seen!

Upon a Table Upon a table, round and bright, With checkered cloth, a joyful sight! Sunbeams danced, a golden hue, Waiting for friends, old and new. Bella shared berries, plump and red, While Leo brought the honey bread. Giggles bubbled, a joyful stream, Sharing stories, like a happy dream. They munched and crunched, a friendly crew, Each bite a treasure, fresh and true. Spilled juice was wiped with a happy sigh, Beneath the bright and sunny sky. Magic Forest

In Secret Woods, where shadows play, And sunbeams dance the livelong day, Lived Barnaby, a dwarf so small, Whose greatest wish was gold for all! "I'll make some gold!" he cried with glee, Beneath a whispering willow tree. His beard, like moss, upon his chest, He started on his golden quest. He mixed up dew with moonbeam bright, And pixie dust in pale starlight. He stirred it with a twig of pine, A golden shimmer did entwine! He chanted spells in voices low, As fireflies began to glow. He hammered stones with tiny might, Transforming pebbles into light! He puffed and sweated, worked with zeal, His tiny hammer's mighty squeal. He dug and sifted, day and night, 'Til everything was golden bright! His little home, now overflowing, With gold that kept on growing, growing! No longer pebbles, dull and gray, Just gleaming gold to light the way! Barnaby cheered, "I did it, see! The Secret Woods are full of glee!" His dream fulfilled, his heart alight, The Secret Woods, a golden sight!

The owl in the night

The owl in the night

In forests deep, where shadows play, And moonbeams dance in a mystic way, An owl, so grand, with eyes so bright, Took silent flight in the fading light. He flew so high, a feathery friend, His journey begins, where will it end? With silent wings, he starts to soar, A hunter's grace, forevermore. Through ancient trees, he starts to roam, The forest floor, his hunting home. A rustle soft, a tiny squeak, A little mouse, about to speak! But before the mouse could utter a sound, The owl swooped low, all around. Up, up, he's gone, into the sky, His trophy with him, he waves goodbye. Back to his perch, where his family lies, Beneath the stars, in the moonlit skies. The owl sits still, no longer hunts, He starts to watch, the moon in fronts.
