Lost the Way
**Poem:**
A rustle, a creak, a shadowed green, Deep in the forest, a curious scene. Lost! cried Leo, small and so slight, "The path disappeared in the fading light!"
Giant trees, with mossy beards, Whispered secrets, unheard words. A squirrel zipped by, a flash of brown, Leo stomped onward, up and down.
He found a map, drawn on a leaf, By a pixie, avoiding forest thief! "Follow the fireflies," it gently read, "Where mushrooms glow, and fairies tread."
Fireflies blinked, a shimmering guide, Through tangled roots, where shadows hide. He leaped o'er a creek, on a slippery stone, His heart beat fast, but he wasn't alone!
A friendly badger, with spectacles bright, Offered berries, a welcome sight. "The path's that way," he winked with a grin, "Past the grumpy gnome, living within!"
Leo tiptoed past, on silent feet, Avoiding the gnome, and his grumbling treat. The air grew sweet, a familiar scent, His house peeked through, a moment well spent!
The door swung open, a warm embrace, Safe from the woods, and that wild, lost place. He hugged his mom tight, with a happy sigh, Adventures are fun, but home is nearby!
