In a coral reef, bright and grand, Lived Flippy the Fish, in a bubbly land. With starfish so sparkly and a crab so sly, He dreamed of flying high in the sky!
Flippy the Fish had a secret wish, To soar like a bird, with a swish and a swish! He watched the sunbeams dance on the waves, And longed for the freedom the seagull knaves Enjoyed in the air, so breezy and free, "Oh, how I wish that could be me!"
One day, with a giggle and fin-waving flair, He swam to the surface, beyond compare. He took a deep breath, a shimmering sight, And leaped from the water with all of his might! He floated a moment, a shimmering gleam, Then plopped back down with a watery scream!
The current swept him, a bubbly ride, Past anemones waving, side to side. He tumbled and turned, a dizzying swirl, Then landed right back in his coral world. The starfish giggled, the crab gave a click, "Flying's for birds, Flippy, that's the trick!"
But Flippy looked 'round, at the colors so deep, The fishes that danced, secrets to keep. The glowing sea sponges, the plants tall and grand, He realized the ocean was his wonderland. He didn't need wings, he didn't need air, He loved his bright reef beyond all compare. So Flippy the Fish, with a happy sigh, Decided his reef was his own kind of sky!
