In forests deep, where shadows creep, And ancient trees their secrets keep, Lived wise old Owl, with eyes so bright, Who ruled the night with all his might.
He told the moon, a silver dime, "When I say hoot, it's playtime time! The sun has set, the stars appear, So little critters, have no fear!"
The badger yawned, the fox did leap, The sleepy dormouse woke from sleep. The hedgehogs rustled, quick and sly, Beneath the moon in velvet sky.
The deer tiptoed, so soft and grand, Across the misty, dewy land. The bats took flight, a dizzy swirl, The night alive, a happy world!
For Owl watched over, strong and keen, A feathered guardian, rarely seen. He guided them with gentle grace, Protecting all in this wild place.
So when you hear the owl's soft call, Remember he protects us all. A wise old friend, in forest deep, While all the sleepy creatures sleep.
