High up in the green, A rainforest canopy, a vibrant scene! Sunbeams dancing, light and free, Home to a sloth, as sleepy as can be.

Sloth, so slow, with fur so green, Hanging upside down, the laziest seen. Emerald Leaves whispered secrets untold, While cheeky Monkeys swung, brave and bold.

Always taking naps, a sleepyhead, Dreaming of leaves, yummy and red! In his slumber deep, a leafy feast, The best rainforest buffet, at the very least!

He dreamt of leaves like candy so sweet, Leaves that danced to a jungle beat. The Monkeys swung low, a giggling spree, Tickling his nose with a fallen tree… leaf! You see?

He twitched and he mumbled, a sleepy sigh, For mountains of leaves reaching up to the sky! He munched and he crunched with a happy sound, While leaves showered down, all around, all around!

Suddenly, a sunbeam, a golden ray, Woke the sleepy sloth from his leafy play. He blinked his eyes, so slow and wide, The dream leaves vanished, nowhere to hide.

He stretched his arms, and yawned a big yawn, The rainforest was waking, a brand new dawn. He reached for a real leaf, green and so bright, Wakes up refreshed truly, what a delight!
