In coral castles, bright and grand, With fishes dancing, fin in hand, Lived Sparkle, a dolphin, small and blue, Whose parents vanished, out of view.
He swam in circles, filled with dread, "Mommy? Daddy?" softly said. The coral gardens, a rainbow bright, Now seemed so lonely, in the fading light.
He zipped past starfish, slow and round, Past seahorses, barely a sound. A school of silverfish, quick and gleam, He asked, "Have you seen my dolphin team?"
A mermaid swam, with hair of green, "Little dolphin, what have you seen? A shark is lurking, dark and grim, Be careful, little friend, swim, swim, swim!"
Sparkle shivered, with a tiny squeak, Then bravely said, "I have to seek! My parents wait, I know it's true, I'll swim the ocean, through and through!"
He dodged the shark, with pointy nose, And past the jelly, that softly glows. He called and called, his voice so clear, Hoping his family, somehow would hear.
Then, through the water, a whistle call, A dolphin's echo, answering all! Two fins appeared, then bodies bright, His Mommy and Daddy, in his sight!
He zoomed to them, with happy leaps, The ocean rejoiced, from its watery deeps. The mermaids cheered, the fishes too, The little dolphin, safe and new!
The coral shimmered, the sun shone bold, A happy ending, to the story told. Sparkle was home, the ocean at peace, His family found, their joy increased!
