In Savannah's heart, where the sunbeams gleam, And trees stand tall, a vibrant dream, Stood Geoffrey the Giraffe, so grand, Ready to explore this sun-kissed land.
His neck stretched high, a curious sight, "I'll see what wonders greet my height!" He munched on leaves, a leafy treat, From branches way up, oh so sweet!
Then stripes appeared, a black and white dance, Zola the Zebra, gave Geoffrey a glance. "Why so high, Geoffrey? What do you see?" Geoffrey smiled, "More than just the leafy tree!"
He saw the river, a silver thread, And distant hills, painted red. He saw the lions, a sleepy pride, Lounging beneath, where shadows hide.
Suddenly, Roaring Rex, the leader of the lions, Woke up in surprise, at Geoffrey's visions. "Such a high lookout, maybe food will be insight" The lion whispered, ready for an adventure filled night.
But Geoffrey saw them, from way up high, And warned Zola, with a gentle sigh. "Run Zola, Run! The lions are near!" Zola darted fast, with no trace of fear.
Geoffrey's height, a helpful guide, Showed wonders new, and dangers to hide. The savanna stretched, a vibrant map, From lofty heights, he closed the gap.
And so he learned, with a joyful heart, His height wasn't just a clever start, But a window wide, to all that lay, Across the savanna, come what may!
