In a school with trumpets and drums so bright, Where pianos chuckled with all their might, Lived kids with shoes tied in a funny knot, Ready for dancing, whether they liked it or not!
Teacher Timmy, with hair like a haystack tall, Announced, "Today, we'll bounce off the wall!" He clapped his hands, a most peculiar sound, As the music started to wiggle and bound.
First, a silly step, like a wobbly goo, Then a crazy move, like a kangaroo! A twist and a twirl, a hop and a slide, The children giggled, nowhere to hide!
Little Lily tripped on her own two feet, Landing with a thump on a trumpet so sweet. The trumpet went "Toot!" a most comical blast, And Lily got up, dancing super-fast!
Tommy the Trombone tripped over the bass, Doing a somersault all over the place. The xylophone chimed with a happy "Bing!" As the children danced, singing, "Let the fun ring!"
They hopped on one leg, they wiggled their nose, They danced with the rhythm that happily flows. Teacher Timmy cheered, with a clap and a shout, "You're the silliest dancers I've ever seen, no doubt!"
Then the music stopped with a sudden "Boing!" The children all paused, what a joyful thing! They burst into laughter, a happy cascade, Dancing is great, a wonderful parade!
