A farmyard filled with hay, Where sunshine danced all through the day, Stood Farmer Giles, a grumpy soul, Whose laughter rarely took its toll.
Goose likes to sing, a silly sound, The strangest tunes on grassy ground. This goose named Giggles, white and grand, Had melodies no one could stand!
"Honk-a-doo! Quack-a-ling!" she'd shout, Her beak wide open, popping out. A wobbling wiggle, a feathery flap, She’d sing her songs right in your lap!
Farmer Giles, he’d frown and sigh, And wave his hands up to the sky. "Oh, Giggles Goose, you silly bird, Your squawking song is quite absurd!"
But Giggles didn't seem to care, She'd belt her tunes into the air. "Baa-bleep-boop! Moo-zing-a-zow!" Her silly song began to grow!
Then something strange began to bloom, Farmer Giles began to boom! A giggle first, then hearty roar, He hadn't laughed like that before!
He wiped his eyes, a tear of glee, "You silly goose, you’ve tickled me!" He clapped his hands and danced around, To Giggles Goose’s joyful sound.
Happiest goose, all day long! Giggles sang her silly song, And Farmer Giles, with smile so wide, Laughed right along, side by side!
