Deep down, where sunlight fears to tread, In coral castles, painted red, Lived Blu the Whale, a gentle giant, With barnacles that sang a rhyming slant.
Blu felt like exploring, one fine day, Beyond the reefs where dolphins play. He flipped his tail, a bubbly splash, And swam away in a silent dash.
He met a Starfish, bright and bold, With stories of the treasures, yet untold. "Let's find the sunken pirate's chest," The Starfish squeaked, putting Blu to the test.
Through seaweed forests, dark and green, They chased the shimmer, rarely seen. Past grumpy crabs with sandy shells, And schools of fish like jingling bells.
They danced with jellyfish, slow and grand, Exploring shipwrecks, close at hand. Blu helped a turtle, old and wise, Whose flipper was stuck, beneath the skies (Of the ocean's roof, a sunlit gleam, A distant memory, a hazy dream).
He laughed with seahorses, tiny and small, And played hide-and-seek in a coral hall. Blu and Starfish, friends so true, Made memories beneath the blue.
But as the moon began to rise, A longing sparkled in Blu's big eyes. He missed his home, the familiar sound, Of whale song echoing all around.
With Starfish waving, on a rocky mound, Blu turned for home, safe and sound. He'd seen the world, both near and far, But home was where his heart truly was. Blu returned with friends in tow. To be happy with the friends they know.
