Upon a peak of misty grey, Where magic danced and sprites did play, Lived Sparky, dragon, scales of green, The loneliest dragon ever seen.
(Sparky felt lonely...)
His heart ached with a fiery pang, No friends to sing, no games to clang. He sighed a puff, a smoky plume, That vanished in the mountain gloom.
Then, "Achoo!" burst forth with might, A fiery sneeze, a blinding light! The mountain rumbled, trees took flight, Oh dear, what a terrible plight!
But from the mist, a flutter bright, Came Lily Fairy, shining light. With wings of gossamer, a gentle hand, She calmed the flames across the land.
"Sparky, dear," she softly said, "Your fire's strong, it fills my head! But fear you not, we'll learn to tame, This mighty gift, this fiery game!"
They practiced breaths, and gentle puffs, Controlled the fire, enough is enoughs. Lily taught control with laughter sweet, To channel fire, make it neat.
At last, the sun dipped low and red, "Let's light the sky!" fair Lily said. Sparky smiled, his heart alight, With Lily Fairy, shining bright.
He took a breath, a mighty roar, And painted stars, forevermore! Across the velvet, in fiery streaks, The Dragon's Fire, the mountain speaks!
No longer lonely, Sparky flew, With Lily Fairy, kind and true. Their friendship burned, a glorious blaze, Lighting up the misty haze.
