Best Friends on the Beach 3

Tommy the Turtle, with shell so green, Saw Sandy the Crab, a sandy scene! On a sandy beach with waves so mild, A friendship bloomed, carefree and wild.

"Hello, dear Sandy," Tommy did call, "Let's build a castle, strong and tall!" Sandy scuttled closer, with pincers so bright, "A splendid idea, with all of my might!"

They gathered seashells, shiny and grand, And dug with their claws in the warm, golden sand. Tommy smoothed walls, with patient slow grace, While Sandy added moats, at a rapid-fast pace.

They laughed as the waves tickled toes in the sand, A bucket of water close at hand. Together they planned, with a giggle and grin, Where the flags of the castle would wave in the wind.

They worked as a team, a wonderful pair, Building their dream with diligent care. The sun beamed above, a warm, golden eye, Watching their friendship reach for the sky.

And when the tide turned, a little bit higher, Their sandcastle stood tall, defying the fire! A symbol of friendship, so sturdy and true, Tommy and Sandy, forever, me and you!
