In a sunny forest clearing, bright and bold, Where sunbeams danced and stories unfold, Squeaky the Squirrel, with eyes so keen, Found a giant acorn, the biggest ever seen!
"Oh, my!" squeaked Squeaky, with a joyful bound, "The perfect treasure, nowhere else around!" But hiding this prize, a challenge it seemed, A grand adventure, as Squeaky dreamed.
He scurried and scampered, a flash in the trees, Past prickly bushes and buzzing bumblebees. Up a wobbly branch, he nervously crept, But a grumpy old badger, his slumber he'd swept!
"Go away, little squirrel!" the badger did growl, Squeaky tumbled down, with a frightened howl. Then Oaky the Owl, with feathers so white, Landed beside him, a magnificent sight!
"Hoo-hoo, dear Squeaky, what troubles you so?" "This acorn," cried Squeaky, "where does it go?" Oaky the Owl, with a wise little blink, Said, "Follow me, Squeaky, quicker than you think!"
They flew through the forest, a whimsical pair, Past chattering chipmunks, without a care. To a hollow old oak, with roots strong and deep, A perfect hiding place, secrets to keep!
Inside the oak, safe from wind and from rain, Squeaky nestled the acorn, again and again, Checking its safety, with a happy small squeak, His treasure protected, no longer so bleak.
"Hoo-ray!" cried Oaky, with a joyful, loud hoot, "Your acorn is safe, with its sheltering root!" Squeaky and Oaky, with a joyful, quick spree, Celebrated together, happy and free!
