Snowie feels alone, a frosty tear he shed, The winter forest hushed, all other creatures fled. Bare branches reached like fingers, scratching at the sky, While icy winds went whistling, a lonely lullaby.
The snow lay deep and sparkling, a blanket white and cold, Snowie stood so still and stiff, a story to be told. His coal eyes watched the snowflakes dance in dizzying flight, He wished for just a friendly face, to brighten up the night.
Then, *chirp chirp chirp*, a tiny sound, broke through the icy air, A robin redbreast fluttered down, with feathers light and rare. "Hello!" chirped Birdie brightly, hopping near Snowie's base, "It's quite a winter wonderland, a truly lovely place!"
Snowie, surprised, could only stare, his carrot nose askew, A little bird, so brave and bold, in skies of frosty blue! "You seem so sad," the birdie sang, "All alone and feeling blue, I'll be your friend, I'll sing for you, and chase away the gloom!"
And so began a friendship bright, in winter's frozen hold, Birdie sang of springtime dreams, of stories to unfold. He perched upon Snowie's button nose, and twirled upon his head, While Snowie chuckled, frosty puffs around his carrot spread.
They played all day in snowy glades, until the sun went down, Birdie snuggled close to Snowie, safe within his town. No longer lonely, Snowie smiled, a happy frosty sight, With Birdie as his winter friend, everything felt bright.
The winter forest echoed now, with laughter light and free, Snowie and Birdie, best of friends, as happy as could be! The icy winds still whistled, but the sound was sweet and low, A happy song of friendship, blooming in the snow.
