Leaves start falling, soft and slow, In the forest, colors glow! Red and gold, and orange bright, A dazzling, dancing, autumn light!
Leif the Leaf, a maple bold, Felt a tingle, stories told, Of swirling journeys, high above, With Windy the Wind, full of love!
Windy woke with a whoosh and a sigh, "Come, Leif! It's time to fly!" He scooped him up in a breezy swirl, A leafy dancer, a whirling girl...
Or boy, it didn't matter, you see, Just Leif and Windy, wild and free! They twirled and dipped through branches high, Against the blue of the autumn sky.
They chased each other, round and round, With joyful giggles, nature's sound! Leif did somersaults, light and fleet, A tiny dancer, oh so sweet!
But Windy tired, his breath grew faint, He set Leif down, without complaint. Leif tumbled gently, soft and light, Joining his friends, in sleepy night.
He landed softly, on the ground so brown, Part of a carpet, settling down. A vibrant quilt of red and gold, Autumn's story, to be told!
