On a mountain peak, kissed by mist so white, Where magic bloomed in the fading light, Lived Sparky, a dragon, scales emerald green, The loneliest dragon the world had seen.
He sighed a puff, a wisp of gray, Wishing for someone to laugh and play. His heart felt heavy, a stone in his chest, He longed for a friend, to put him to the test.
*Achoo!* A fiery sneeze escaped his snout, A blaze of orange burst all about! The mountaintop trembled, the rocks began to glow, Sparky wailed, "Oh dear! Where will this fiery show go?"
Then, a giggle like bells, a flutter so near, Lily the Fairy, banished all fear. Her wings like rainbows, her eyes bright and keen, "Don't worry, dear Sparky, this can all be unseen!"
She sprinkled him with stardust, a shimmering rain, "Breathe deep, slow breaths, again and again!" She taught him to focus, to guide the bright spark, To channel the fire and leave its own mark.
He puffed a small flame, then a bigger one still, Lily cheered him on, with delighted shrill. He practiced his aim, no longer a fright, Controlling his fire, with all of his might.
The sun dipped low, painting the sky with its grace, Sparky looked at Lily, a smile on his face. "Want to see something magical?" he said with a grin, And Lily the Fairy, excitedly chimed in.
They soared through the twilight, a wondrous sight, Sparky's fire painting stars in the night. Each carefully placed, a sparkling new gem, He lit up the darkness, becoming her friend.
The mountain stood silent, bathed in soft light, Sparky and Lily, best friends of the night. His lonely heart mended, with friendship so true, The dragon's friendly fire, for me and for you!
