A sunny forest clearing, bright and bold, With buttercup blankets and stories untold. Sunbeams danced down through leaves green and grand, A perfect adventure in Squirrelly-land!
Squeaky the Squirrel, with fur fluffy and brown, Found something special upon the soft ground! A giant acorn, bigger than his head, "The perfect treasure!" Squeaky excitedly said.
He searched for a spot, a secret and deep, Where wintery winds their secrets would keep. Past prickly bushes and roots twisted tight, He scampered and struggled with all of his might.
A grumpy old badger, with whiskers so gray, Said, "That acorn's mine! Now scurry away!" Squeaky just giggled, "You're welcome to try," And zoomed up a tree, reaching for the blue sky!
Then Oaky the Owl, with eyes round and wise, Hooted softly, "A clever disguise! I know a good place, a hollow so neat, Hidden near the stream, a squirrelly retreat!"
Together they flew, past flowers so sweet, To a mossy-green log, a perfect retreat. Squeaky tucked his acorn safe inside, His treasure protected, with nothing to hide!
He leaped and he cheered with a joyful wee squeak, While Oaky the Owl gave a confident peek. They shared a wild berry, a sweet juicy treat, Their acorn adventure, wonderfully complete!
