In a sunny forest clearing, bright and bold, Where dappled light through leafy branches rolled,
Squeaky the Squirrel, with eyes so keen, Found a giant acorn, the biggest ever seen!
“Oh my!” squeaked Squeaky, tail a-twitch, “A treasure so grand, I must quickly enrich My secret store, for winter's chilly blast! But where to hide it? That's the task amassed!”
He scampered and leaped, a furry brown blur, Past grumpy old badger in his underground lair. He dodged prickly bushes, with thorns sharp and grim, This acorn adventure was testing his whim!
Oaky the Owl, perched high in the oak, Watched Squeaky's antics, each jump and each poke. "Hoo-hoo!" he hooted, "That acorn's a prize! But watch out for Robbie, with thieving, black eyes!"
For Robbie the Robin, a mischievous sprite, Loved shiny bright things, with all of his might. He swooped and he dived, a feathered red streak, Trying to snatch it, but Squeaky was quick!
He zigged and he zagged, a flurry of feet, Led Robbie a chase, a challenge so sweet! At last, he discovered, beneath a mossy stone, A perfect hiding spot, utterly unknown!
He tucked the acorn in, snug and secure, No Robbie the Robin could ever allure This treasure away! Squeaky cheered with delight, And Oaky the Owl hooted, "You won the good fight!"
With a happy heart full, and tail held up high, He shared a few berries with Oaky, nearby. The acorn was safe, the adventure complete, Squeaky and Oaky, a friendship so sweet!
