My shoes, oh my shoes, they're acting so queer, At this party so grand, filled with laughter and cheer! Balloons bob and sway, a rainbow so bright, With music that twinkles, and sparkles of light.
There's Lily, the child, with ribbons of blue, Her parents are watching, what will her shoes do? 'Cause these aren't just shoes, they're magical things, With laces that wiggle and sparkly blue wings!
Suddenly, tap-tap-tap! A beat of their own, Her shoes start to dance, putting on quite a show! They jig and they jive, they leap and they prance, A crazy shoe boogie, a whimsical dance!
The music gets louder, the faster they go, Lily starts giggling, putting on her own show! Her parents are laughing, they clap with such glee, "Those shoes are the funniest we ever did see!"
Everyone joins in, a shoe-shuffling spree, Grandpas and Grannies, as happy as can be! They stomp and they slide, they wiggle and hop, Led by the shoes, they just can't be stopped!
The party's a riot, a whirlwind of fun, All thanks to the shoes, 'til the day is all done! With giggles and twirls, and leaps in the air, Funny shoes dancing, beyond all compare!
The music fades softly, the dancing winds down, The shoes give a curtsy, without a frown. The party is over, but the joy still remains, Funny shoe memories, easing all pains!
