In a lab, all shiny and bright, With bubbling beakers and tubes of light, Stood Professor Bumble, quite round and absurd, His hair like a cloud, every word softly slurred.
A curious Child, with eyes big and bold, Watched the Professor, a story untold. For there in the center, a marvel so grand, The Laughing Machine, in this whimsical land!
Professor Bumble, with a grin so wide, Had built this contraption, with nowhere to hide! "This machine," he declared, with a comical bow, "Will banish all frowns, starting right now!"
He flipped a big switch, with a "Ker-CLICK-A-ZOO!" The machine sputtered, a funny "Ka-CHOO!" Then giggles erupted, like popcorn in oil, A symphony silly, beyond all recoil!
The Child started chuckling, a tiny squeak first, Then belly-deep laughs, quenching a thirst For joy and for mirth, a ticklish delight, The lab filled with laughter, both morning and night!
The machine burped out bubbles of sunshine so bright, Each one a giggle, taking joyful flight. They floated on breezes, out into the town, Turning frowns upside down, all around, renown!
Now people are laughing, from morning till night, The world is much happier, sunny and bright! So thanks to the Professor, so round and so grand, And his Laughing Machine, spreading joy through the land!
