In jungle green, where sunbeams peek, And vines like emerald ribbons speak, Lived a parrot, bright and bold, With feathers red and stories told.
He learned new words, a joyful sound, Repeating phrases all around. A juicy mango, sweet and bright, Inspired him with all his might.
A cheeky monkey, swinging near, With eyes so bright and full of cheer, Heard Polly's squawk, a "Hello there!" And stopped to listen in the air.
"Hello, Monkey!" Polly cried, With words he'd practiced, deep inside. The monkey grinned, a happy face, "A talking bird! In this wild place!"
They chatted long, of jungle life, Of sunny days and playful strife. Polly learned of trees so tall, And monkey told of waterfall.
The mango bright, a gift to share, They ate together, without a care. A friendship bloomed, beneath the sun, The parrot's chat, a happy one!
