Sun shines warm, a golden hue, Summer Days in green debut.
In the park, where laughter rings, A leafy stage, the summer brings. The slide stands tall, a rainbow bright, Swings reach for skies, with all their might. Picnic blankets, spread so wide, A joyful feast, with naught to hide.
Children scamper, full of glee, Like buzzing bees, wild and free. Lily and Tom, and little May, Chase butterflies that flit and sway. Sun, a giant, smiling face, Warms every corner of this place. Shining down with radiant light, Making everything feel just right.
Old Oak Tree, with branches wide, A leafy shelter, deep inside. Whispering secrets, in the breeze, Rustling stories, through the trees. Children climb, with tiny hands, Exploring nature's magic lands. They build a fort, of sticks and leaves, Imagination, no one deceives.
They swing so high, they touch the sky, Little squeals, as clouds float by. They dig for worms, in garden beds, Then crown each other, with flower heads. The Sunbeams dance, a happy sight, As shadows lengthen, into night.
With sticky fingers, and sun-kissed nose, Summer memories, sweetly grows. The day is done, the fun complete, Summer days, oh so sweet! They pack their toys, and wave goodbye, To sunlit park, and summer sky. For in their hearts, a warmth remains, Summer joy, through sunny rains. They enjoyed every bit of summer time.
