In oceans deep, where sunlight sleeps, And coral castles secrets keep, Live finny friends, a shimmering school, Obeying ocean’s watery rule.
A swish, a swirl, a flash of scales, They dart and dance through bubbly veils. Red Fish, Blue Fish, stripy and bright, A playful rainbow in the fading light.
Long strands of Seaweed, green and grand, Waved hello with a kelpy hand. They tickled noses, soft and slow, As the Fish School put on a dazzling show.
Then came Old Turtle, wise and slow, With barnacles clinging, all aglow. He blinked one eye, a wink so grand, "Today, young Fish, we’ll explore the land…
Of the underwater kind, you see! Come swim with me, and follow me!" He flipped his flippers, strong and wide, The Fish School followed, side by side.
Past sunken ships, where mermaids weep, Through anemone gardens, oh so deep! They dodged a grumpy, grumpy crab, And saw a starfish take a seabed nap.
They zoomed past whales in misty spray, And dolphins leaping in a joyful way. Through coral canyons, bright and bold, The Turtle’s story, expertly told.
From midnight trenches, dark and vast, To sunlit reefs, their journey cast. The Fish School swam, a happy crew, Exploring wonders, fresh and new.
And when the moon began to gleam, They dreamt of journeys in a watery dream. They’d traveled far, the ocean wide, With Turtle guiding, as their trusty guide!
