In a dusty attic, dim and grand, Sat an old lamp, upon the sand, Of forgotten treasures, lost and deep, Where secrets whispered in their sleep.
A curious girl, with eyes so bright, Found the lamp, bathed in pale moonlight. She rubbed the brass, with hopeful plea, And POOF! A genie, wild and free!
"Greetings, child!" the genie boomed, His voice like thunder, newly groomed. "I'm here to grant your heart's desire, Three wishes given, set your soul afire!"
The girl, she gasped, then thought with glee, "A mountain of candy, just for me!" POOF! A candy mountain, tall and grand, With lollipop trees on sugary land!
"My second wish," she said with haste, "A unicorn with rainbow taste!" POOF! A unicorn, with mane so bright, Whose every lick, a pure delight!
But then she paused, and scratched her head, "What shall I wish for?" she then said. The genie smiled, wise and old, "True happiness, more precious than gold."
So the girl she wished, with all her heart, For joy and laughter, a brand new start. POOF! No grand display, no magic spark, But a warmth within, dispelling the dark.
The genie winked, "The best wish, dear, Is happiness held, always near!" Then with a twinkle, and a fading gleam, He vanished back into a fantastical dream.
