Upon an Empty Canvas Wide A wonderland of white did hide, No colour splashed, no form took hold, A story waiting to unfold.
A little girl, with eyes so bright, Found something gleaming in the light. A paintbrush, long and sleek and grand, Held magic in its wooden hand.
*Magical Paintbrush*
She dipped the brush in colors bold, A crimson red, a sunshine gold. First, a lion, fierce and proud, He roared right off the fluffy cloud!
Then, a zebra, stripes so neat, With dancing hooves and tiny feet. A purple hippo, round and wide, Slipped laughing down the canvas side.
A parrot green, with feathers gay, Squawked greetings at the close of day. An elephant so blue and grand, Sprayed painted water on the land.
She painted monkeys, big and small, Who swung from branches, one and all. The canvas filled with joyous sound, As creatures scampered all around.
But wait! A shimmer, soft and low, A whispered secret, starts to grow. The painted animals, so free, Are jumping off for all to see!
No longer just a painted scene, They're living, breathing, ever keen. The girl now smiles, a happy gleam, Her painted world, a vibrant dream!
