The Playful Dolphin

In the open sea, where the sunbeams dance, A world of blue in a joyful trance. Waves that whisper secrets old, Stories of the ocean told.

A dolphin leaps, a flash of gray, Across the waves in joyful play. He swims and spins, a happy sight, Bathing in the golden light.

A little boy, upon a boat, Waves to the dolphin, afloat, afloat! His eyes light up, a gleeful spark, Watching the dolphin leave its mark.

The dolphin dives, then pops back up, As if to say, "Come, fill your cup With ocean dreams and salty air, Let's chase away all gloom and care!"

The boy laughs loud, a happy sound, As the dolphin circles round and round. He leans out far, with outstretched hand, To greet the friend from ocean land.

They play all day, beneath the sun, A bond of friendship, just begun. The dolphin leaps, the boy he cheers, No room for sadness, no more tears.

As evening falls, the sky turns pink, The dolphin nods, and with a wink, He disappears beneath the waves, A promise kept, the friendship saves.

The boy smiles bright, his heart so full, Of ocean magic, oh so cool! He knows he'll see his friend once more, Upon the waves, near the sandy shore.
