In a forest old, where sunlight slept, And mossy stones their secrets kept, Lived Willow, a girl with eyes so bright, And a fairy named Lumi, bathed in light.
Lumi appeared, a shimmer and gleam, Holding a cage, it seemed a dream, Inside, a bird with feathers blue, "A gift for you, Willow, brand new!"
Willow gasped, "A bird so grand, But trapped inside, I understand, He longs to fly, to soar and sing," A thought took root, a joyful thing.
With trembling hands, she opened the door, The little blue bird asked for no more, He hopped on her finger, a tiny squeeze, Then spread his wings in the forest breeze.
He circled her head, a song he trilled, The forest with music was beautifully filled, Lumi smiled, her eyes alight, "Your kindness, Willow, shines so bright!"
The bird flew high, a sapphire dart, A happy chirping, a work of art, Willow laughed, her heart so free, Kindness given, returned to she.
For Lumi's gift, though small it seemed, Unlocked a joy that brightly gleamed, A friendship born, a spirit soared, Happiness blossomed, evermore stored.
