A Starry Night: The Flying Carpet Ride
Young Ali, in his dusty room, Found a carpet, chased by gloom. With tassels frayed and colors bright, It hummed a tune in pale moonlight.
A princess, hidden from the King, Slipped through the window, heard it sing. "Oh, Carpet, Carpet, take us high, Above the world, into the sky!"
The carpet shivered, then unfurled, And soared above the sleeping world. A starry night, a velvet scene, Diamonds scattered, gold and green.
Past Luna's smile, they softly flew, Through clouds of cotton, soft and new. They danced with comets, streaking fast, A cosmic waltz that forever passed.
They tickled nebulae, pink and blue, And whispered secrets to the moon's crew. They saw a dragon, made of light, That winked at them with all its might.
Then back to Earth, the carpet swayed, Before the dawn, the stars all fade. With sleepy yawns and hearts aglow, They landed softly, down below.
The carpet folded, still and deep, Holding stories, secrets to keep. Ali and Princess, eyes so wide, Returned with tales of their starry ride.
