In a valley of emerald green, Where softest grass had ever been, A sparkling river, oh so bright, Danced and shimmered in the light.
The Sun, a painter in the sky, Brushed golden hues as he went by, Kissing the river with a gleam, A happy, watery, sunlit dream.
The Trees, with branches reaching high, Whispered secrets to the sky, Their leafy arms, a verdant crown, Watched the river flowing down.
The river flowed, so clear and free, A happy chuckle for all to see, It gurgled softly, “Come and play!” Inviting creatures to its bay.
A thirsty deer, with gentle eyes, Bent low to drink beneath the skies, A playful fox, with fur so red, Lapped at the water, then he fled.
The birds all sang a joyful tune, As dragonflies danced 'neath the moon, The sparkling river, kind and true, Gave life and joy to me and you.
For in its waters, cool and deep, The valley's secrets it would keep, Nourishing all, both big and small, The sparkling river, loved by all!
