In a dark, scary cave, where shadows creep, A monster hid deep, secrets to keep. He wasn't scary, not a bit, He just feared kids, and their playful wit!
A little girl named Lily, brave and bold, With a teddy bear, a story untold, Stumbled upon the cave's dim light, "Hello?" she called, with all her might.
The monster trembled, gave a little squeak, Hoping Lily wouldn't come to seek. But Lily stepped closer, with teddy in tow, "Are you in there, hiding low?"
She tiptoed in, with curious eyes, And saw the monster, a big surprise! He covered his face with furry paws, Afraid of her giggles and her playful laws.
Lily giggled, "You're so shy and round!" Then reached out her hand, without a sound. She tickled his tummy, a gentle tease, And the monster burst out in a fit of wheezes!
He laughed and he roared, a booming sound, As Lily tickled, spinning him around. His fear disappeared, like mist in the sun, Being tickled was actually quite fun!
He’d never been tickled, not ever before, Now he wished Lily would tickle some more! So they played in the cave, 'til the sun peeked through, A monster and girl, a friendship brand new.
The monster wasn't scary, not anymore, He was Lily's friend, right to the core. And the dark, scary cave, filled with glee, Became the best place, for friends to be!
