Ocean Ride

Swimming, so blue, in the deep, dark sea, A dolphin so swift, as happy as can be! Scales shimmer bright in the sun's hidden ray, Ready for adventures, this very fine day.

Down in the deep, where the coral castles gleam, And seaweed forests sway in a watery dream, Live fishes and crabs, and starfish so grand, In this underwater world, so close at hand.

A dolphin named Zip, with a grin and a leap, Called, "Let's ride the waves! Wake up from your sleep!" The waves, like big slides, all foamy and white, Invited Zip to play, with all of his might.

He zoomed up and down, a playful sea sprite, Riding the breakers with pure, bubbly delight. He flipped and he twirled, a silvery flash, Then dived to the bottom in a splashy, cool dash.

He leaped through the air, a magnificent sight, Then landed with grace, all sparkly and bright. He whooped with pure joy, "This is the best trip, With waves as my chariot, a delightful skip!"

So he swam through the ocean, happy and free, A dolphin of the deep, wild as the sea. His ocean ride ended, but the memory stays, Of sunshine and laughter, and wonderful days!
