In forests deep, where shadows creep, And sunlight dances, secrets to keep, Lived a fox, so sleek and grand, The fastest runner in the land!
He woke one morn, a hungry chap, A rumbling tummy, in his lap. "A hunt!" he cried, with joyful bark, To chase a meal, before it's dark.
He sniffed the breeze, a twitching nose, Where tasty scents, divinely rose. A fluffy tail, a flash of red, Across the mossy path he sped!
He saw a bunny, plump and white, Nibbling clover, with all its might. The fox crouched low, a silent blur, A sudden dash, a whirring fur!
The bunny hopped, with frantic leaps, While danger nipped, in slumber deeps. Through tangled roots, and thorny vines, The chase ensued, in twisting lines!
But Fox was fast, a cunning friend, His speedy paws, would never bend. He pounced and caught, with skillful grace, A happy grin, upon his face.
Beneath a tree, with berries bright, He dined that night, with pure delight. The fastest fox, his hunger stilled, A yummy dinner, nicely filled!
