The Goat is Silly

(Poem body)

Baa-baa! Honk-honk! What a farmyard sound! Silly Goat's awake, dancing on the ground! Sunbeams peek on fences, red and tall, Roosters crowing answers to the cow's loud call.

Goat, with beard so pointy, eyes so bright, Decided breakfast wasn't quite right! He spied Farmer Giles's trousers on the line, And thought, "A tasty snack! Oh, so divine!"

Munch, munch, chomp, a cotton-flavored treat! Farmer Giles then shouted, "That's my Sunday seat!" Goat just blinked, with grass stains on his chin, And then he saw the tulips peeking from within!

Red and yellow petals, such a vibrant hue, Goat gobbled them right up, a flowery stew! He skipped and hopped, a rainbow in his tummy, While Farmer Giles just sighed, feeling quite grumpy.

But Goat, so full of flowers and of thread, Did a funny little jig, stood on his head! Farmer Giles forgot his trousers, stained and torn, And laughed so hard he fell down in the corn.

Goat, the silliest ever seen on earth, Had filled the farm with giggles, proving his worth! With a happy bleat, he winked his goaty eye, And munched a dandelion, beneath the bright blue sky!
