Landing on the moon, a dusty gray, With stars like diamonds, far away! Captain Stella, brave and bold, A story of adventure to be told!
Her rocket ship, a silver gleam, Had landed softly, like a dream. In her spacesuit, white and bright, She stepped into the moon's pale light.
With lunar boots that crunched and sighed, She searched for treasures, deep inside. A special rock, a lunar prize, Reflected starlight in her eyes.
She chipped and scraped with all her might, This moon rock shining, oh so bright! Into her bag, the sample went, A cosmic treasure, heaven-sent!
But then, a rumble, low and deep, Made Captain Stella start to leap! A moon worm wriggled, long and green, The strangest creature she had seen!
It blinked its eyes, a curious stare, Then pointed with a silent prayer, To a hidden cave, dark and vast, Where moon rock glittered, holding fast.
More samples gathered, swift and quick, Avoiding the moon worm's playful kick. Then back to the ship, with engines roar, Leaving the moon forevermore!
She flew through darkness, swift and free, With moon rock treasure, you and me Could marvel at, for all to see, A cosmic gift, for you and me!
