Creaky doors, a chilling breeze, Old Haunted House, amongst the trees! Towers tall and windows black, No turning, adventurers, no turning back!
Our crew of kids, with courage bright, Three brave souls, in fading light, And Whiskers too, a feline friend, Their spooky journey, without end!
The ghosts, they howled, a wailing sound, As through the halls, they spun around. "Oooooh," they groaned, "Beware, beware!" But the kids just laughed, without a care!
They searched the attic, dusty and grim, Past cobweb curtains, oh so dim! They searched the cellar, damp and cold, For secrets hidden, stories told!
Whiskers, the cat, with eyes so keen, Spied something glinting, gold and green! Behind a portrait, ripped and torn, A hidden chest, on a day forlorn!
They heaved it open, with bated breath, Diamonds sparkling, defying death! Gold doubloons, a pirate's prize, Reflecting brightly, in their eyes!
The ghosts all cheered, a joyful sound, Their ancient treasure, finally found! The kids and cat, with riches grand, Had brought the house, to happy land!
