Summer's Warm Sunshine
Bright Sun is shining, a golden, warm eye, Watching down on the beach, where the blue waves lie. The sand, oh so warm, a tickle on toes, As summer's sweet story begins and it grows.
Children are laughing, a joyous, bright sound, Spinning and twirling all over the ground. The Waves whisper secrets, a salty, cool breeze, Rustling through seashells and whispering through trees.
Splash! In they go, to the ocean so wide, Where Sunbeams are dancing and playfully hide. The Waves pull and tug, with a giggle and glee, "Come swim with us, children, as happy as can be!"
They jump and they dive, like dolphins at play, Chasing the sunbeams throughout the long day. The Sun smiles above, a warm, golden friend, Their summer adventure that never will end.
But now from the water, they hurry ashore, To build grandest castles they've never built before! With buckets and shovels, and teamwork so grand, They sculpt sandy towers upon the warm sand.
The Sun, the Waves, Children, a perfect, bright day, Building sandcastles, then packing away. The beach sleeps in moonlight, the day now is done, Waiting for sunshine and summer fun.
