In a bathroom bright, all shiny and white, Stood a mirror, reflecting the light. A bubbly face, with eyes full of glee, Stared back at a kid, that’s me, that's me!
Uh oh, loose tooth, a wiggly fright, Hanging on barely, morning and night! A tiny white dancer, ready to flee, From its cozy pink home, for all to see.
The tongue went to work, a ticklish tease, Pushing and prodding, with comical ease. The finger joined in, a tentative poke, This wobbly white tooth, was no longer a joke!
It wobbled and swayed, like a ship on the foam, Threatening to leave, its dental home. A twist and a turn, a wiggle so grand, Held breath, crossed fingers, with a hopeful hand.
Then POP! It was out! A gap-toothed grin, A tiny white treasure, a victory to win! Under the pillow, it went, snug and deep, Hoping for coins while I fall asleep.
No more wiggling worries, no more toothy despair, Just a happy young kid, with a gap in the air! And a secret plan brewing, inside my head, To buy all the candy, with the money instead!
