The rug's a map of candy lands, On Grandma’s floor, on happy strands Of Christmas lights, a cozy glow, Where cousins meet, and friendships grow!
Big bins of toys, a joyful sight, Trucks so red and kites so bright! Dolls in dresses, fuzzy bears, Enough for laughter, minus cares.
Young Lily grabs a racing car, And Tom, a pirate, yelling, “Arrr!” But then, a frown upon young Sue, She wants the car, what should they do?
“Let’s share!” cries Lily, bright and bold, “We’ll race it fast, as we are told! You take the wheel, then it’s my turn, Friendship’s flame will always burn!”
They zoomed the car across the floor, Past mountains made of cushions more. Tom joined in, a pirate’s spree, Sharing treasures, wild and free!
The dolls had tea, the bears all danced, In cousin’s smiles, their joy enhanced. No grumpy faces, just happy glee, Sharing toys, for all to see!
As twilight falls, and games must cease, They hug each other, finding peace. For toys are fun, that’s plain to say, But friends are better, every day!
