The world asleep, in slumber deep, A frosty hush, secrets to keep. Then whispers soft, on winds so light, Winter's magic, takes to flight!
Snowflakes flutter, tiny and white, Dancing down in the fading light. Little dancers, a swirling spree, Kissing rooftops, wild and free.
The town below, in shades of gray, Transforms itself, in a dazzling way. Houses wear hats of sugared snow, And streets turn white, where footsteps go.
Children peek, with eyes so bright, At winter's canvas, pure and white. "Snow day! Snow day!" they shout with glee, Ready to play, wild and free!
Trees stand still, in frosted gowns, Sparkling jewels, on leafy crowns. Each tiny branch, a frozen lace, Smiling gently, in time and space.
Snowballs fly, a playful fight, Laughter echoes, in the fading light. Angels imprinted, wing and grace, Left in the snow, time and space.
Roll and tumble, with rosy cheeks, Making snowmen, with clever tweaks. A carrot nose, and coal-black eyes, Underneath the winter skies.
Button smile, so big and bold, A winter story, to be told. He stands so proud, beneath the snow, Winter's friend, in the icy glow.
