In a coral reef so bright, Rainbow colors, what a sight! Tiny bubbles danced and gleamed, In a watery world, a vibrant dream.
Marina the Mermaid, with scales so green, Felt a worry, sharp and keen. Her song, her melody, her watery art, Had vanished completely from her heart!
Finny the Fish, with stripes of gold, Swam to Marina, brave and bold. "What's wrong, dear Mermaid? Why the frown? The saddest face in all the town!"
Then Dinky the Dolphin, so sleek and swift, Heard the worry, felt the gift, Of Mermaid magic, now astray, And knew he had to help that day.
"Don't you fret, dear Marina," he cried with a click, "Hop on my back, be quick, be quick! We'll swim through the reef, and listen so deep, For echoes of music, secrets to keep!"
They zipped past anemones, swaying slow, Past clams that whispered, soft and low. They swam past seahorses, tiny and grand, Searching for music throughout the land, Or rather, the sea, so deep and blue, For clues to Marina's missing tune.
Then, as they passed a bubbly cave, A faint sweet echo, the ocean gave! Dinky stopped still, "Listen, can you hear? A tiny fragment, banishing fear!"
Marina closed her eyes so tight, Remembering colors, feeling the light, Of sunbeams dancing on the sand, The ocean's rhythm, close at hand.
She hummed a little, then sang a note, A tiny sound that started to float. Then another, and another bright, Her song returning, filling the light!
Her voice so clear, so sweet, so strong, The reef re-echoed her beautiful song. Finny the Fish did a joyful flip, While Dinky the Dolphin clapped with his lip!
Marina the Mermaid, with scales so green, Sang her lost song, a joyful scene. The ocean rejoiced, the coral did sway, Marina was singing, happy today!
