Fresh baked cookies, warm and sweet, A yummy, sugary, tasty treat!
Lily skipped to the kitchen bright, Where sunlight danced with golden light. A cozy table, painted blue, Waited there, for me and you. With checkered cloth and flowers gay, It beckoned us to come and play.
Ben was there, with eyes so kind, And Teddy Bear, you're sure to find, Perched beside him, fluffy and brown, Wearing a tiny, velvet crown. Lily smiled, a happy gleam, This friendship felt like a sweet dream.
"I baked these cookies!" Lily cried, Her face alight with joyful pride. "Chocolate chip, and oatmeal too, Enough for me, and Ben, and you!" She placed the plate upon the stand, A tasty treasure in our hand.
Ben grabbed one fast, a happy sigh, "These cookies make my spirits fly!" He broke one in half, a thoughtful deed, "One for Teddy, he's in need!" Teddy Bear grinned, a stitched delight, And munched his crumb with all his might.
Lily shared one, crisp and warm, Protecting her friend from any harm. Each bite a taste of joy and glee, Friendship's flavor, wild and free. They laughed and talked, the afternoon A sweet and simple, happy tune.
The cookie plate was almost bare, A crumb or two still lingered there. Ben looked at Lily, then at Bear, "This friendship's something we all share!" So full of cookies, hearts aglow, Friends like these, where do they grow?
The kitchen table, blue and bright, Still held the warmth of that sweet light. Three happy friends, a perfect scene, The best cookie sharing ever seen! And Teddy Bear, with sticky paws, Knew friendship conquers any flaws!
