The Zipping Zucchini

On a shelf, in the fridge, so bright and so cool, Sat Zucchini, green and oblong, ignoring the rule! Lettuce and berries, all frosty and near, But Zucchini had a secret, crystal clear!

Zipping and zooming, a blur in the light, That's Zucchini the Speedy, a funny green sight! He'd start with a *whirr* near the pickles so sour, Then *zip* past the grapes, with incredible power!

A kid opened the fridge, for a midnight snack, But instead of an apple, he saw a green track! Zucchini was zipping, right over the cheese, Leaving everyone giggling, brought down to their knees!

He'd loop 'round the yogurt, a vegetable streak, Then *whoosh* past the butter, playing hide-and-seek! The Fridge hummed a song, as Zucchini flew by, Making everyone laugh, with a twinkle in his eye!

Then *thump*! Zucchini landed, right next to the door, He'd zapped himself dizzy, couldn't zip anymore! The kid picked him up, with a smile so wide, "You're a fun vegetable," he cheerfully cried!

Now Zucchini sits safely, outside the fridge's glare, A reminder that fun's a vegetable out there! He dreams of more zips, more loops and more flights, But mostly he's happy, just bringing bright lights!
