In a forest old and deep, Where sunlight danced and secrets sleep, A wishing well, of stone so gray, Dreamed of wishes every day.
A little kid, with eyes so bright, Stumbled on the wondrous sight. Tiny fairies, wings a-gleam, Whispered secrets, a joyful dream.
The well it promised, clear and bold, "A wish granted, a story told! Special desires, take flight and soar, Happiness given, forevermore!"
The kid leaned close, with bated breath, And tossed a penny, defying death (Of dreams, of course, not really dead!), Then closed their eyes, and softly said,
A wish for giggles, stars, and glee, For every creature, wild and free. The fairies fluttered, a shimmering haze, Sprinkling stardust in a playful maze.
Suddenly, flowers bloomed in hues, Of rainbow shades, and morning dews. Animals danced, a joyful sound, As happiness blossomed all around.
The well chuckled, a rumbling boom, "Your wish fulfilled, dispelling gloom!" The kid's heart soared, a joyful flight, In that magical well's true light.
For in that moment, pure and true, The well's magic shined anew. A magical memory, to hold so dear, A well-wished moment, year after year!
