In a hidden underwater cave, so deep, Where coral castles slumbered in their sleep, Lived Marina, a mermaid with scales so bright, And hair like seaweed, dancing in the light.
She woke one morn, a frown upon her face, Her pearl necklace, gone without a trace! "Oh dear!" she cried, a bubbly, watery sound, "My sparkling pearls are nowhere to be found!"
Dolphins Dash and Dazzle, with clicks and playful squeals, Volunteered to help, on fast and speedy keels. Old Turtle Tim, with shell of mossy green, Said, "Fear not, Marina, this problem will be seen!"
They searched the currents, swirling round and round, Past anemones that danced without a sound. Through fields of kelp, where silverfish did gleam, Hoping for a clue, a shimmering, bright beam.
Then Dash let out a whistle, sharp and clear, "A glimmer down below, it's sparkling, have no fear!" Beneath a giant clam, half-buried in the sand, A single, shining pearl, lay close at hand!
It wasn't just a pearl, it was a tear, so clear, Shed by Marina when overwhelmed with fear. The necklace, tangled near, was quickly brought to light, Marina cheered, her heart filled with delight!
She strung the pearl of sadness on the strand, Now a reminder that true friends lend a hand. So if you're ever lost, or feeling blue, Remember Marina and her helpful, ocean crew!
