In a box of cardboard, bright and grand, A jigsaw city, waiting close at hand. Pictures jumbled, a colorful array, Dreaming of sunshine, come what may.
Puzzle One, with a bumpy side, Longed for a partner, where it could confide. Puzzle Two, with a curvy sweep, Secretly wished its edges weren't so steep.
"We want to fit forever," they both did sigh, From the jumbled corners, reaching for the sky. Lost in the puzzle, a chaotic spree, Hoping to find where they ought to be.
They twisted and turned, with a hopeful plea, "Maybe together, we'll finally agree!" One tried to squeeze, the other to bend, On matching perfectly, their hopes depend.
They bumped and they nudged, a playful dance, Took many tries, by happenstance. A little bit here, and a wiggle around, The perfect spot at last was found!
Click! Went the pieces, a happy sound, Locked together, safe and sound. The cardboard castle, a friendship true, The two best puzzle pieces, fitting through and through!
