In a fishbowl round, on a table so neat, Lived a goldfish small, with shimmering feet. The water was clear, a bubbly delight, And inside his bowl, shone a castle so bright!
This little gold fish, with scales of bright gold, Had dreams of the ocean, stories untold. He'd wiggle his fins, and swish his bright tail, Imagining waves, and a salty sea gale.
One night as he slept, the water turned blue, His castle grew larger, magically true! The bowl disappeared, with a fantastical POP! And Goldie was swimming, he simply couldn't stop!
He danced through the coral, a reef bright and grand, With fishes of rainbow, all over the land! A turtle swam past, with a wink and a smile, "Welcome, dear Goldie, stay for a while!"
He chased after bubbles, so shiny and round, And played hide-and-seek, where seashells were found. He met a starfish, a friend jolly and bright, And learned all the secrets, the ocean held tight.
He explored a shipwreck, all barnacled and old, A pirate's lost treasure, more precious than gold! He swam with the dolphins, so graceful and free, The happiest goldfish, for all eyes to see!
Then slowly, the colors began to grow dim, The ocean was fading, returning so grim. He found himself back, in his bowl round and small, But his heart held the ocean, he'd given his all!
He looked at his castle, no longer the same, Now filled with the memories, whispered his name. He smiled to himself, with a contented soft sigh, "I’m a goldfish with stories, of the ocean so high!"
